Overview

We’re a fast-moving, plaintiff-focused personal injury firm looking for a resourceful, professional, and compassionate Field Investigator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a knack for gathering facts, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit injury clients to assist with intake, including document signing and case information gathering
• Conduct in-person investigations: collect photos/video of scenes and vehicles, identify and secure physical evidence
• Interview witnesses and take written or recorded statements
• Deliver or retrieve documents from clients or third parties
• Maintain detailed reports and timelines
• Communicate regularly with attorneys and case staff to report findings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in investigations, insurance, private security, journalism, or a related field is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to make clients and witnesses feel at ease
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (travel is a must)
• Tech-savvy: able to use smartphones, Google Docs, and PDF tools comfortably
• Must be self-directed, trustworthy, and deadline-oriented

Bonus Points

• Background in law enforcement, legal support, or claims work
• Spanish or other second-language fluency

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 20 – 35 per week
Work Location: In person
