Melissa Bergin

Paralegal

Melissa joined Heimerl & Lammers in 2023 and has worked exclusively in family law since graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2021. Melissa understands that each family law case is different and takes great pride and responsibility in supporting our clients through this difficult time in their lives. Melissa appreciates being able to assist her coworkers in progressing the interests of our clients and to step in when needed. With a unique sense of adaptability, she is able to respond quickly to change and always approaches each case with the attention, empathy, and respect it deserves. Melissa grew up in Columbia, Missouri and moved to the Twin Cities in 2017. During college, you could find her organizing literacy events with her sorority, interning at law offices, and studying American Sign Language. In her free time, Melissa loves spending time with her friends, family, and cat Rosie. She enjoys being outdoors at one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes, traveling, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, playing board games, and trivia.
