Jessica is an attorney practicing family law and child protection law. Born and raised in Indiana, Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Jessica also earned her Master of Social Work from Indiana University, with a focus on community and organizational leadership. During her tenure at IU, Jessica advocated for children in dissolution and child protection proceedings as a guardian ad litem and CASA and engaged in significant pro bono service for a legal nonprofit’s domestic violence advocacy group.

After graduating from both programs in 2023, Jessica was admitted to the Minnesota and Indiana state bars. She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Hennepin County District Court’s Juvenile Division, where she drafted court orders, conducted legal research, and reviewed matters involving child protection and juvenile delinquency. Following her clerkship, Jessica joined a general practice law firm, gaining foundational experience across a wide range of legal disciplines. She now leverages this broad knowledge in her family law practice, where issues often intersect with contracts, real estate, and other related areas.

Jessica’s social work experience strengthens her ability to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and respond to clients’ needs with empathy. Jessica’s clients have praised her for her empathetic yet firm approach to legal practice. She values building trust with her clients and providing clear, practical legal solutions.

When not practicing law, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, cats, and family. She also enjoys hiking, reading, and planting too many houseplants.
