Andy joined Heimerl & Lammers in August of 2024 with a desire to focus on the practice of law, leverage his professional experience for clients in district and appellate courts, and continue his alternative dispute resolution offerings as a Rule 114 qualified neutral. Andy is an excellent attorney with a rich background in entrepreneurship and management, honed over nearly 12 years leading Haugen Law Group.

Andy’s expertise encompasses child custody, complex property and asset division in divorce, business and retirement valuation, and modifications to spousal maintenance, child support, and parenting time orders. Andy is an active member of several professional associations, including the Hennepin County Bar Association, Eighth District Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) – Minnesota Chapter, and Minnesota Family Law League.

Outside the courtroom, Andy is an avid golfer and snowboarder, and has trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for over a decade. He enjoys reading, traveling with his family, attending concerts, and cheering for the Timberwolves, Gopher Football, and Twins.
