Partner Jenna Eisenmenger recently won a contested adoption trial for a foster family who had cared for the toddler since the child was an infant. Those contesting the adoption were relatives caring for a biological sibling, both unknown to the child.
There are many challenges when an adoption is contested by relatives who are caring for a biological sibling, even in situations where the child is better off with their foster family.
