Partner Jenna Eisenmenger recently won a contested adoption trial for a foster family who had cared for the toddler since the child was an infant. Those contesting the adoption were relatives caring for a biological sibling, both unknown to the child.
There are many challenges when an adoption is contested by relatives who are caring for a biological sibling, even in situations where the child is better off with their foster family. Jenna and her team worked hard to demonstrate that the child’s best interests were to stay with the foster family and was able to protect this family unit for a bright and happy future together.
