Brooke is an attorney practicing family law. Brooke earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she also received certificates in Dispute Resolution Theory and Practice and Child Protection. During law school, Brooke gained extensive experience in family law matters through her work as a law clerk at a local law firm and as a certified student attorney representing parents and caregivers involved in the child protection system. Brooke joined Heimerl & Lammers after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Suzanne M. Brown in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District, where she conducted legal research, drafted judicial orders, and assisted the court in resolving a wide range of family, civil, and criminal matters.

Brooke is committed to helping clients navigate challenging family transitions with practical guidance, thoughtful advocacy, and clear communication.

Brooke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth with degrees in Political Science and Sociology. During her time at UMD, she served on student conduct hearing panels and was actively involved in student leadership and community service initiatives.

In law school, Brooke served as a contributing associate editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and as President of the Minnesota Justice Foundation Student Chapter. She received multiple academic honors, including CALI Awards for Excellence in Child, Parent, and the State and Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication.

In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring Minnesota’s lakes and trails, and spending time with family and friends.
